There are many reasons to visit the State Theatre. Whether you are interested in the architecture and history, looking to see a show, eager to hear the newly restored Wurlitzer pipe organ, or just exploring Downtown Oroville, we strive to make the Theatre open and accessible to as many people as possible.
The COVID19 pandemic has made things especially difficult for smaller community theatres, and we are eagerly looking forward to re-opening with a new and exciting production calendar for 2021. We also plan to offer guided tours, pipe organ demos, private events, and much, much more.
If you are interested in visiting the State Theatre, please check our event calendar or contact us for information about programming on the dates you will be in town. Even while we have been closed, it’s well worth a walk through downtown or a cruise down Myers St. to see our newly restored marquee and blade sign.
Downtown Oroville is easily accessible with plenty of parking and many fun things to do for you, your partner, and the whole family!
