Box Office
The majority of the work of maintaining and managing the State Theatre is carried out by a small staff and volunteers. One of the limitations this presents, unfortunately, is that we don’t have the staff or resources to keep the Box Office open during regular business hours. Feel free to contact us at (530) 538-2470 to make arrangements for advance ticket sales.
The Box Office will usually open 30 minutes before an event and remain open for the duration of that event. Please check event listings or refer to your ticket confirmation for more specific information.
Alternate Ticket Sales Locations
To work around this limitation, we sometimes partner with our neighboring downtown businesses, who generously offer to sell tickets and provide as much help and information as they can during their regular opening hours. If tickets are offered at a local merchant, we will note that in the event section of the website.
